GRAPHOLOGY
Handwriting
Analysis
Only
a short while
ago folk
equated
handwriting
analysis with
the pseudo
science, today,
people have a
broader outlook
of this
methodology,
although Sue
(shown left)
explained that
this
methodology is
not new and can
be traced back
to the monks in
the middle
ages. Or indeed
back to Roman
times, it
appears that
central Europe
has been the
lead nations
with an Italian
University
publishing the
first written
documentation.
Handwriting
analysis is a
method of
observation and
interpretation,
based on
understanding
and blended
into a science
Handwriting
analysis can
identify
subconscious
and conscious
personality
characteristics.
These traits
relate to your
behaviour,
motivation,
sexuality,
ambitions, and
other
personality
variations.
A
hand-written
envelope
arrives in your
post box and
more often than
not you don't
even have to
open it to know
whom it's from.
Why is this?
When initially
we were all
taught to write
in the some
way. As we grow
so does our
character, soon
each of us has
developed our
own distinctive
style of
writing that is
unique and
identifies us
to our friends
and relatives.
But it is much,
much more than
that.
Handwriting
is a picture of
your character
frozen at the
time of
writing. It can
show many
aspects of your
personality,
relationships,
fear of the
future, what
things are
important in
your life. To
extract most of
it you only
need to perform
the basic
interpretations
of handwriting
analysis.
Sue
explained that
over one
hundred
personality and
character
traits can be
explored and
from these
learn a great
deal about any
writer;
insights that
would have
taken months,
even years, to
discover by
other methods.
For example,
you'll know if
the writer is
stable,
tactful,
sincere,
conscientious,
intelligent,
imaginative,
honest,
organised, and
happens to love
sex (or not).
Conversely, you
may determine
if the writer
is arrogant,
brutal,
conceited,
deceitful,
greedy,
impatient,
irritable,
resentful,
stubborn, or
selfish.
Each time we
write we
communicate
information
about
ourselves. Some
things are
consistent but
our writing can
change from day
to day, even
from letter to
letter,
depending on
whom we are
writing to and
how we feel.
Just the
tiniest nuance
on one letter
can say things
about us to a
trained eye.
Sue used an
OHP (Over head
projector) to
show numerous
textural
examples of
script in
various modes
and explained
the
significance of
these to
determine some
of the traits
mentioned
above.
Sue
presented a
very
interesting
lecture on her
subject of
graphology, her
presentation
was well
structure and
informative,
certainly new
to most
members. She
generated an
enthusiastic
atmosphere and
this resulted
in a magnitude
of question so
much so that
the President
had to curtail
the hands
raised with
requests. This
is an excellent
sign that
members found
the topic of
interest,
whether this
same membership
are convince of
the technology
remains to be
seen!
Members
after a fitting
vote of thanks
applauded Sue
most warmly.
Below are
some extracts
from Sue's
publicity
material, this
is worth
further study
and if you are

The
Holistic View
Handwriting
analysis is
complex. Each
individual
element of
writing cannot
be considered
alone as one
aspect may
affect or
contradict
another. Only
when the
writing has
been viewed as
a whole can a
picture emerge.
First
Impressions
The overall
size of the
writing may be
large
indicating a
larger than
life
personality
wanting to be
in the
spotlight.
Should this
aspect be
combined with a
much smaller
middle section,
however, then
the person
would not have
the confidence
to carry this
out.
Contradictions
There could
be indications
in the writing
that a person
uses both
logical and
emotional
processes when
trying to make
a decision.
These are
contradictions,
which may cause
the person to
be indecisive.
Sue's
interest in
handwriting
analysis began
in 1985.
Her formal
training in the
subject
includes:
Three year
Handwriting
Analysis
course at
Roehampton
campus part
of the
University of
Surrey
Study
course on the
Psychology of
handwriting
and Jung's
theories in
relation to
handwriting
at the London
School of
Economics
Attending
residential
graphology
courses.
Attending
specialist
lectures held
at the
Graphology
Society
But her
specialist
interest in
Graphology
stemmed from
her early
studies and she
said,
"Since
those early
days I have
been hooked on
the
subject"
Sue lives in
Woking Surrey

qualified to
teach
Handwriting
Analysis
courses at

Handwriting
analysis can
highlight areas
of the
personality
that you may
want to improve
to achieve your
potential -
answering such
questions as:
Do you
lock
confidence?
Are you
assertive
enough?
Do you
connect
with
others?
Are you
afraid of
the future?
You can then
develop these
areas and
initiate change
for the better.
Handwriting
analysis is
also used for:
Recruitment
purposes
Compatibility
Forgery
detection
Therapeutic
purposes
