LADIES’ LUNCHEON, KINGSWOOD GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

Dear Fellow Member,
The meal will be a 5 course self service carvery, and will commence at 12.30pm.

The cost will be £26.00p per person.
Bread rolls and jugs of water will be available on each table.
A choice of red or white wines will be available to purchase at the bar, which will be open from 11.45 am for pre-lunch drinks.
Seating will be in accordance with member’s wishes as far as possible. Tables will be round and seat up to 10 people. There will be staff available to help members and guests who require assistance. Each lady will receive a complimentary draw ticket.
The Speaker after lunch will be The Caged Lady by Lee Ault
Lee Ault from the Dickens House Museum at Broadstairs. Lee is a well-known speaker and expert on costume and textiles; Her talk is entitled "The Caged Lady (Victorian Costume and Social Attitudes)"].This covers the fashion shape change with the emphasis moving to the rear, with the "crinolinette" and the bustle provided by the “cage”

It is hoped that as many Members and Guests as possible will be able to attend. Would you please return your proforma to me as soon as possible, but no later than our April meeting , with a cheque made payable to Probus Club of Ewell.
